Bio

Nature is a healing force in my life. Daily stresses from life seem to wash away as I get lost in the forests and meadows under the snow-capped mountains of the American West.  Spontaneity, travel and the freedom to explore are what feeds my soul. After suffering a sudden and nearly lethal cardiac arrest while photographing moose in Jackson Hole in 2021, I became utmost aware of my fleeting time with nature.

Growing up in Chicago with a darkroom in my basement, my father and I spent countless hours getting lost in the art of image-making. After 20+ year career in finance, my entrepreneurial spirit and life-long passion for photography led me to establish a filmmaking/photography company that specialized in portraiture, lifestyle and events for a select corporate and nonprofit clientele.  With my nonprofit/NGO clients, I was able to create multimedia stories to address social issues and advocate for change. My photography has brought me to over 25 countries on four continents.

In 2019, my love of photography, hiking, and exploration led my husband and I to the mountains of Northern Utah where I found a new love of nature, wildlife and abstract photography.  I have learned the importance of slowing down and letting curiosity be my guide. I am often up at dawn, camera in hand, exploring the beauty of the American West.

I can only hope that the deep love I have for visual storytelling and exploration shows through in my imagery.
